Situated in one of the last truly quiet places on Earth, Dokeo offers a residency for scientists, artists, and humanists dedicated to probing the frontiers of knowledge. Set within a tranquil Tuscan village bewteen Florence and Pietrasanta, at the heart of Apuan Mountains, we createed a sanctuary where emerging technology meets profound philosophial inquiry across disciplines including neuroscience, data science, psychology, sociology, ethics, arts and engineering.

This residency is designed for minds driven to explore fundamental questions about human nature and the evolving interface between humanity and technology. By fostering an environment rich with intellectual exchange grounded in both Western and Eastern philosophical traditions, fellows are empowered to engage deeply with topics such as consciousness, ethical frameworks for innovation, and the societal implications of emerging technologies.

Away from the distractions of the world, each year international researchers and creators are invited to live and work in a rural Tuscany to dedicate their time for original thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration, cultivating new perspectives that connect the scientific, artistic, and humanistic dimensions of our rapidly changing world.
